Mr. Haske graduated cum laude from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, double majoring in History and Philosophy. He then attended Hamline University School of Law where he received his law degree in 2007. During law school, he earned a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Hamline's nationally-ranked Dispute Resolution Institute. Mr. Haske is committed to listening to his clients, helping them understand their legal rights, and working with them to design creative and cost-effective solutions.
Mr. Haske was born and raised in Northern Michigan. He comes from a hard-working family of small business owners. By opening Haske & Haske, P.C. with his wife, Mr. Haske is carrying on that family tradition. He enjoys returning to his childhood home to visit with family and friends, hunt, fish, and sail. In Illinois, he calls Elgin home and is actively involved in his community.
Laura DeHaan Haske
Laura DeHaan grew up in Elgin, Illinois, and graduated from Elgin High School's first Gifted and Talented Academy. She played tennis at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, completed Belmont's Honors Program, and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in English. She married Paul Haske in 2004 and his love for the law spilled over into her life. Following in his footsteps, she graduated magna cum laude from Hamline University School of Law in 2008. During law school, she served as a managing editor for Hamline's Law Review and took home a third place finish in the National Health Law Moot Court competition.
Mrs. Haske was an associate attorney in the commercial litigation department of a respected law firm in the Twin Cities. Her close relationship with her family and a desire to help a broader range of clients brought her home to Elgin. She enjoys working with individuals and small businesses in a variety of legal practice areas. Mrs. Haske is deeply committed to her community and volunteers occasionally at Administer Justice, a Christian legal aid clinic, where she assists low-income individuals, mainly in the area of family law.
